Horizontal Machining
The Machine Spindle is parallel to the floor and there is a rotary axis in addition to the X, Y and Z axes. Multiple sides of a part can be accessed in a single clamping. Additional pallets are available for other part configurations.
Wire Electrical Discharge Machine (EDM)
Wire EDM uses a wire electrode to remove metal from a workpiece by generating electric sparks between conducting surfaces.
Vertical Machining
The Machine spindle is perpendicular to the floor and the machine moves in 3 axes.
Assembly
Turnamatic assembles value added components such as inserting dowel pins and installing inserts. Turnamatic can also supply mechanical assemblies and subassemblies.
5 Axis Machining
The machine moves in 5 axes giving access to 5 sides of the part in a single clamping.
Part Marking
A process to permanently mark parts with product information including serial numbers, part numbers, date codes, and barcodes.
Lathe Turning & Swiss Machining
A machine that rotates a workpiece about an axis of rotation to perform various operations such as facing, turning, drilling and boring with tools that are applied to the workpiece to create an object with symmetry about that axis.
Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
CMM’s Measures Locations, Sizes and Forms of features on parts and assemblies to verify the attributes are within design specifications. Inspection Reports are generated and data is collected for Statistical Process Control (SPC).
